There are lots of different types of hair treatments out on the market these days. Often times it is hard to keep up with all the options. One fairly new option that is growing in popularity is the Brazilian Keratin hair treatment. This produce is used in salons and is designed to make frizzy, unmanageable hair straighter and frizz free.
Keratin hair treatment comes in a wide range of brands. However, no matter who makes your product, it is painted on the hair and allowed to sit. For three days you can’t get it wet and you can’t use hair ties or clips because your hair will mold and stick to the shape that you create with the ties and clips. After this period of time you wash your hair with sodium free shampoo (the sodium will remove the treatment faster) and you have a look at your new hair.
The treatment works fairly well at removing frizz. It won’t make your hair completely straight, but it will indeed remove the frizz and give you more manageable hair. For this great looking hair you will dish out about $400 to $500 a treatment. The treatment will last 3 to 6 months depending on how often you need to wash your hair.
