Many people hear statistics about smoking and how bad it is for you, and they try to rationalize it all away because they “enjoy” smoking. The truth about smoking facts is that while they may not all be super accurate, the bottom line is that they are close enough to prove a strong point. Most smokers die several years before their time and this is a pretty hard fact to miss when you analyze all the data.
Another truth about smoking is that the average smoker spends an enormous amount of time actually smoking each year. Most smokers are physically smoking for at least 30 days out of an entire year. Think of the amount of lost time and what you could be doing with that time if you did not smoke.
