Hate Having a Cold Swimming Pool?

Summer is right around the corner so it is time to start getting the pool ready for use. One of the most important ways to ensure that your pool will get a lot of use is by maintaining a consistent temperature. The only way to do that is to have a pool heater that will keep the water and a comfortable temperature so everyone can enjoy the pool.

Pool thermometers are necessary to detect the temperature in the water. Thermometers hang over the edge, in the water to detect the water’s temperature. If you notice the temperature is low and you don’t have a heater, than it is likely that you will not get in the water. On the other hand, if you have a heater than you simply adjust the temperature and within a short amount of time your pool will be comfortable enough to take a swim.

A cold swimming pool is impossible to enjoy because even on a hot day it could take all day for the sun to warm the pool water. The temperature of pool water should be between 78 and 82 degrees. Setting your pool heater to a comfortable water temperature will ensure an enjoyable swim whether you are swimming laps, walking or simply floating on your back.

There are many styles of heaters to choose from and the price ranges depending on the style of pool you have and the style of heater you have. Once you have installed your heater, it is wise to also invest in a solar cover to keep the pool temperature comfortable when not in use. This will save you a lot of money and is a much more energy efficient way to keep the water at a consistent temperature. Heating the water and maintaining a consistent temperature will ensure more frequent use of the pool this summer.
