Free standing electric fireplaces are great for keeping a particular room warm and cozy.  They are very portable and can be set up in any room of the house with a plug in.  The only restriction is that they do not be near anything flammable because the heat can start fires over time.  Central heating often does not heat every room of the house the same and sometimes a room can get “drafty”.  The best solution is to get a free standing electric fireplace for that room.  It will heat the room very nicely and it is a nice house decoration.  They are very convenient all you have to do is flip the switch and you have man made electric fire to warm you up.  The free standing electric fireplaces are the future green living.
