Colon cleaning is promoted to insure good overall general colon health and sold as a basic “cure all” for a variety of conditions and ailments. It’s a modern equivalent of snake oil. Colon cleaning is back, using all manner of natural methods, including tea, water, and just about anything else you could imagine, up to and including natural enzymes. Is the cleansing of your colon actually beneficial to you? Is it a necessity as many companies tell you that it is? To be honest, the jury’s still out on how good for your body colon cleansing is. There just haven’t been enough studies on colon cleansing done for us to know whether or not it’s beneficial, or does pretty much nothing for you. The truth is that while it may not be completely beneficial or live up to its claims, in most cases it probably isn’t harmful if done reasonably.
