The most popular awning for motorhomes are the free standing or driveaway kinds. These allow you to depart from any camp site and not have to go through the hassle of taking everything down again. When you come back you just need to drive alongside the awning and throw the connecting straps over the side of the motorhome and your back to where you started. The connecting equipment is very simple to use, and most have a quick release mechanism.
If you don’t want to attach it then there are true driveaway motorhome awnings that don’t even touch the motorhome. This can be very useful in high winds because they will not damage the supports and the actual motorhome, giving you more peace of mind, and making them safer to use.

Canvas awnings are capable of adding peace, shade, and style to your home regardless of whether it be placed over a door, window, or patio.
Canvas refers to the surface material on top of the awning. Aside from providing protection from sun and rain, it has many functions. For example, because the canvas is a complex material, it actually decreases the temperature significantly on the locations under the awning. This is useful both for relaxing outside, but also because it can help to moderately decrease air conditioning costs during summer months. They also block UV rays from passing through them and allow windows to remain open, even during rain. In addition to it’s other benefits, canvas awnings can be very appealing to the eye, whether it be placed on a house or business.
Canvas awnings are generally available for several hundred dollars and add modest style, as well as many other features to your home or business.
