What is a repositioning cruise and why should you take one? It allows you to go to unique places and cover a large amount of territory at one time. For example, you could see huge portions of the caribbean, an entire coastline, or even go somewhere unusual like Greenland. You could even see a couple different continents just on one trip. Because these cruises have a purpose of covering as much ground as possible, it creates a relaxing type of vacation. This is not going to be one of those cruises where you are quickly going from one port to another for sightseeing. The main reason people opt for these though is the cost savings- the per-diem cost is typically much lower than a traditional cruise. If you are flexible and creative, you could get a great deal!
