Finding used Hobie kayaks for sale is like finding the holy grail in used fishing kayaks. You are probably going to be hard pressed to find a Hobie for sale used, but it does happen. How it typically happens, is the owner purchased it, and realized that he can resell it, and purchase 3 kayaks for the same price. The owners that keep their Hobies though, are fanatical about these boats. Hobie has almost a cult following. If you do manage to find a Hobie, and it comes with the Mirage drive system, make sure that everything is in tact before you pay any money. These systems aren’t cheap to fix, and if you’re gonna find used Hobie kayaks for sale with it already on it, you may as well get to use it!
