You definitely don’t want that brand new flat screen to topple over and smash on the floor because the black glass LCD TV stand was too small or weak to hold it reliably. This can cost a lot of money to replace when it could have all been very easily avoided by getting the right television stand to begin with. In the end, the final purchase decision is left up to you. Just make sure you take the right things in to considerations. Even if you have to pay a little bit more for a high quality glass TV stand that is more reliable, it is much better than losing that new TV to an accident as a result of a poorly constructed stand. This would cost you way more to replace in the end than it would be to simply pay a few extra dollars in the beginning.
