Essential Skin Care

People have different types of skin and it is primarily determined by the amount of oil in your skin. It is important for us to know what type of skin we have so that we know how to take care of it.

Here are the different skin types and their characteristics.

* Oily skin tends to be shiny with enlarged pores, and is prone to blackheads and blemishes. With this type of skin, you can use non-greasy moisturizer soap and frequently use oil control facial wash.

* Normal skin has minimal pores, a soft and even texture, good quality circulation, healthy color, may tend toward dryness on the cheeks while being oily in the T-zone. You can use natural-made soaps and skin moisturizers such as papaya and cucumber containing soaps and lotions.

* Sensitive skin is thin and delicate with fine pores. It is prone to broken capillaries, it frequently has allergic reactions to dust and it can easily get a rash. You must examine first the ingredients that a product contains to avoid irritation and rashes forming on skin.

* Dry skin will feel tight after cleansing. Dry skin may have fine wrinkles on the skin. You can use moisturizing soap or lotions to prevent your skin from drying out.

It is then important to take good care of our skin so that we are not prone to skin cancer and other skin diseases. Some people have oily skin, they can be thankful for having that kind of skin because oil in our skin can help to prevent wrinkles. People with dry skin must apply moisturizer so that they will have shiny skin, but it is more prone to wrinkles. No matter your skin type, it is still advisable to see a dermatologist and take extra care of our skin with a good cleansing regimen and applying sunblock daily.
