I’ve wanted to get a particular look in my house for a while now, but money is always tight, and I’m finding it difficult to come up with the cash to make it happen. When I was young, I spent a few years on a plantation out in the wild west, and one of the sharpest memories I have of those times is the homestead we lived in. I absolutely loved that house, and wish I could have mine look the same way.
Of course, seeing as though I live in the ‘burbs, I know that’s not going to happen, but I thought I could at least make a few changes that would help me be more comfortable. The first thing I want to do is get shutters on my window, but they are extremely expensive. I think I’ve found the answer though. I came across a shop that sells factory seconds, and they have a big range of discount plantation shutters in store. Sure, they’re seconds, but you can’t tell there’s anything wrong with them by looking.
