The use of energy is very much a spiritual act because energy is sacred.

If you teach college classes at a state-funded academic institution for living, you don’t need anyone to tell you that the employment situation is pretty dicey these days. Entire wagon loads of college instructors are finding themselves on the grass, so to speak, as state budgets for higher education are slashed day after day. Happily, there is an alternative to this dire set of economic circumstances, and that solution is to apply for and secure numerous online adjunct faculty positions. The simple fact of the matter is that online teaching is growing by leaps and bounds because the numbers of citizens who cannot find work are returning to school in order to earn a college degree. However, the universities and colleges are staffing their faculties with adjuncts instead of full time teachers. This conjunction of adjunct employment opportunities and an ever increasing student population can translate into a healthy income for the agile college instructor.

My son is a teenager now, just going on 14, and he’s decided that now is the time for him to be exploring his “emo” side. It makes me laugh, and feel like crying at the same time. I remember when I was a kid and tried to keep up with all the trends that were happening at the time. I had the big boofy eighties hairdo and danced around my bedroom to Madonna, but it seems things have changed since then.

My son listens to depressing music, wears his hair hanging in his eyeballs, and mopes around the house like a sick puppy that has just lost it’s best friend. He recently painted his whole room black, and now insists that to be comfortable in his surroundings he needs black mini blinds to finish it off. I don’t think he’ll be breaking out the platform shoes anytime soon, unfortunately.

When I was 14, my friend and I, in a moment of Black Sabbath inspired devotion, decided it would be sweet to tattoo, and I quote, “something metal” to each other, to show our devotion to the world of heavy music and satanic rock.

I will grant that this was a pretty metal thing to do, especially back then in the 1970′s when tattoos weren’t on every other person you meet, including grandparents and executives at large companies.

However, you can imagine that this led to giving one another some crap artwork as far as a tattoo goes! And you would be right to imagine such a thing, my friend, oh so entirely right…

How right? Well, we both got a freakin’ bat tattooed on our arms. A little indie ink, a pin, and some pain (and possibly some Jack Daniels, shhh!) was all it took to have a black blob that theoretically was a bat. Ah! What were we thinking.

Thank god for modern medicine. Because now, I ordered something called Tattoo Off after reading about it at this site called the Tattoo Removal Creams Guide. Sounds like it will work to remove my tattoo in about 2-3 months. Not bad, especially considering the (cheap!) price.

If you want to be able to improve your looks and happen to have yellow teeth, the first thing you need to do is make your teeth whiter. You can do this in many different ways. There is laser teeth whitening for one. This procedure can cost you $500 or more but is an effective way to whiten your teeth in just 1 hour. There is also those whitening strips. You can buy these for about $30-$50. These are strips that has a bleaching gel on them that you would place on your teeth for about 30 minutes a day or so. It’s a lot cheaper than laser treatment but the results will take longer. You can also use a tooth whitner gel. This is similar to the strips but you would put the gel onto a tray which would go onto your teeth. Having whiter teeth is just one thing you can do but since it’s easy, there’s not reason why you shouldn’t start today.

Don’t you just wish you get get a straight answer about pheromones.  Something like a pheromone 411 that would tell you the straight up truth about these often over hyped products?  Wouldn’t you like to know if the worked?
